The new Satellite Pro S500 is designed to deliver business computing at value price levels.
Featuring Intel’s latest Core I-CPUs, Toshiba has optimised the laptop's ergonomics and design: the laptop comes with a numeric keypad, a large touchpad for easy navigation and offers Toshiba LifeSpace, Toshiba's exclusive productivity suite that facilitates organisation of projects (Toshiba Bulletin Board) and accelerates file search (Toshiba ReelTime).

Therefore, the Satellite Pro S500 has impressive features, durability and a sophisticated look that can withstand the evolving portable work environment.
Toshiba is committed to offering outstanding quality and reliability. To protect stored data against accidental drops or shocks, the new model comes with 3D accelerometer hard drive protection. To ensure the highest quality and reliability, the Satellite Pro S500 is submitted to Highly Accelerated Life Tests (HALT) - these tests are a combination of extended stress tests including temperature variations, resistance to shocks and repetitive vibrations.
The Satellite Pro S500's robustness has been proven in drop tests of up to 70 cm. It has a spill-resistant keyboard that helps protect data from accidental spills of up to 30 ml, allowing users three minutes to shut down to save their data.
